Nicola grew up in a very musical household. Her mother was a pianist and at 15 worked in a music shop demonstrating pianos. This then lead to her working in the music industry and running promotional shops in London, Tonbridge and Brighton. Meeting clients such as :- Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basie, Johnny Mathis and many more.
Her father was a complete Jazz ‘Muso’ and insisted on a school night she must go and see Buddy Rich play. Musically introducing her to Chet Baker, Mel tormè , Latin music and much more.
Nicola believes what we hear growing up creates a lifelong playlist and influences our tastes somewhat.
Having performed as a live vocalist for over 15 years in many duos/trios and bands and teaching in schools since 2010, Nicola offers a wealth of high-quality expertise to her vocal coaching clients, and is the perfect choice for anyone looking to take their vocal abilities to the next level.
