What You Can Expect

What You Will Work On

Every session will include various types of vocal warm ups.
You will explore many breathing exercises and techniques for use in performance, focusing on the importance of diaphragmatic control.
Together, you will work on visualisation and placement of the voice. This will comprise of many fun techniques.
Your repertoire and help finding your “sweet spot keys.”
Help connecting to your songs emotionally, concentrating on making your singing feel “real”.

About Nicola

Nicola grew up in a very musical household. Her mother was an accomplished pianist at 15 and worked in the music industry running promotional shops in London, Tonbridge and Brighton at a very early age and meeting clients such as :- Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basie, Johnny Mathis and many more.

Her father was a complete Jazz ‘Muso’ and insisted on a school night she must go and see Buddy Rich play. Musically introducing her to Chet Baker, Mel tormè , Latin music and much more.

Nicola believes songs from childhood hold close for a lifetime and should be sung!

Having performed as a live vocalist for over 15 years in many duos/trios and bands and teaching in schools since 2010, Nicola offers a wealth of high-quality expertise to her vocal coaching clients, and is the perfect choice for anyone looking to take their vocal abilities to the next level.
